Sonoma Café Woollahra

There are several small boutique shops on Edgecliff Rd, but until recently there was no cafe. In a new building complex, the empty space with its courtyard was screaming to be fitted out as a cafe. In line with the previous Sonoma cafe fitouts the colour palette is kept to dark & warm colours, lot's of black and a warm brown. In the Woollahra fitout we used copper that harmonises with the colour of the breads. The full height of the space was utilised and the curved corrugated ceiling fitted with skylights to allow more natural light into the space.
The products are highlighted with spotlights to stand out while the rest of the space is illuminated with pendants lights over the tables. Planter boxes around the courtyard create an intimate space separated from the footpath.Because of the retractable awning the courtyard can be used in all weather conditions.
