The Pig & Pastry Cafe in Petersham

The former formal dining restaurant has been converted to a light filled cafe. It’s prominent corner position and fabric awnings attracts people from the opposite park.
While retaining parts of the back of house facilities, the main front dining room has been completely redesigned. This included new timber flooring and stripping back parts of the walls to the bare brick, as well as a new counter with coffee machine and food display cabinet. Old lampshades discovered in the back rooms have been used as feature lights. The owners have also sources different types of chairs and tables to give the space it’s unique character.
